Alginate - Mould Making Material (450g)
This is the same material I use to create moulds for life casting sculptures, it’s the best I’ve found - and I’ve tried many! It is an incredible material that is completely skin safe, sets fast (and changes colour as it sets), and captures the finest details. This alginate has a quick setting time, so you don't have to have your hands in the alginate mix for too long, just 30-60 seconds!
How much material do I need?
A full set of baby casts (0-6 months):
2 bags of Alginate + 1 bag of Casting Stone
A full set of baby casts (6-12 months):
3 bags of Alginate + 2 bags of Casting Stone
Adult & baby (0-9 years) holding hands:
2 bags of Alginate + 2 bags of Casting Stone
Two adults holding hands:
3 bags of alginate + 3 bags of Casting Stone
Three adults holding hands:
4 bags of alginate + 3 bags of Casting Stone
